God is faithful
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God
because His eyes are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry
(Psalm 34v15), and that His eyes “run to and fro throughout the whole earth to
show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him …”
(2 Chronicles 16v9, AMP).
Primary Text
“God
is faithful…” 1 Corinthians 1v9 (KJV)
“God
is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and
He can be depended on)…” 1 Corinthians 1v9 (AMP)
“God
will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says,…” 1 Corinthians 1v9 (NLT)
Indeed
our God is faithful. I can attest to the faithfulness of God. I hope you can as
well. Sometimes, in the midst of present struggles or hardships, or in light of
things we are praying for that have not yet been answered, it is easy to lose
sight of the faithfulness of God. But if you sit down, and think, and count
your blessings, and see all that God has done for you, you will be able to say,
indeed I serve a faithful God, One who can be trusted, relied on, is dependable
and is ever true to His promises. Have faith in God, child of God. 1 Samuel
22v26 (NIV) says “To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless
You show Yourself blameless,”. A pastor once said something along the lines of
God has earned the right to be trusted. Don’t you agree? For example, Joseph
was sold into slavery, was sent to prison, and yet Genesis 39v21 (NLT) tells us
“But the LORD was with Joseph in the prison and showed him His faithful love.
And the LORD made Joseph a favorite with the prison ward.”
Supplementary Text
“Give
thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.” 1
Chronicles 16v34 (NLT)
