The weakness of God
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God
because we serve an awesome God. The Lord of hosts is His name.
Primary Text
“…
and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1v25 (KJV)
“…
and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians
1v25 (AMP)
“…
Human strength can’t begin to compete with God’s “weakness.”” 1 Corinthians
1v25 (MSG)
Our
God is the Almighty, all-powerful God, He is omnipotent. The weakness of our
God is stronger than the strength of man. A king once said – “… Who is the LORD,
that I should obey Him and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD and I will not
let Israel go?” By the time the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the most High
God, had shown His wonders in Egypt, Pharaoh knew the finger of God. Our God is
so great, that Lamentations 3v37 (NIV) says “Who can speak and have it happen
if the Lord has not decreed it?” Joshua 10v9-11 tells of a time when Israel
went to fight saying “After an all-night march from Gilgal, Joshua took them by
surprise. The LORD threw them into confusion before Israel, who defeated them
in a great victory at Gibeon. Israel pursued them along the road going up to
Beth Heron and cut them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah. As they fled
before Israel on the road down from Beth Horon to Azekah, the LORD hurled large
hailstones down on them from the sky, and more of them died from the hailstones
than were killed by the swords of the Israelites.” We see here how the LORD
helped them fight and even His own direct attack produced more deaths than
those killed by the sword. For a person who used to sin, kill, cheat, lie, fornicate
e.t.c. to change is so difficult in his own strength, but the Almighty God
through His power, through the Lord Jesus Christ, can make such a one, a new
creature. Hallelujah!

“Who
is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle….
Who is He, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty – He is the King of glory.”
Psalm 24v8&10
