KEPT!
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. I thank God
because we can cast all of our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter
5v7).
Primary Text
“And
not only that, but God Himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on
track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 1v8 (MSG)
“And
He will establish you to the end [keep you steadfast, give you strength, and
guarantee your vindication; He will be your warrant against all accusation or
indictment so that you will be] guiltless and irreproachable in the day of our
Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).” 1 Corinthians 1v8 (AMP)
I
wonder why references are made to God giving us strength, or keeping us
stedfast… well, because the Christian race is not necessarily an easy one and
one may buckle under the pressure that one faces or stray from the narrow path.
But God is faithful to keep us strong and to keep us from straying. Jude 1v24
(NLT) says “Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and
will bring you with great joy into His glorious presence without a single
fault.” Amen! Beloved, keep on keeping on. In essence, God’s got your back and
He won’t fail you. The devil is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12v10),
but “…we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, and have peace with God
because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us” (Romans 5v1, NLT). God
is not mad at you! He made you right with Himself. Jesus isn’t angry with you,
He is interceding for you. Keep yourself in the love of God (Jude 1v21), and
abide in Him forever. Remember 1 Peter 1v5 (NLT) telling us “And through your
faith, God is protecting you by His power until you receive this salvation,
which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.” Amen. Beloved,
keep the faith, and abide in Christ, for without Him, we can do nothing (John
15v5).
Supplementary Text
“Who
shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that
is, Who put us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse
or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] Who is there
to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was
raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He
intercedes for us?” Romans 8v33-34 (AMP)
Prayer
Our
heavenly Father, we thank You so much for Your Word. We thank You for You are
able to keep us unto the end. We pray that we will be infused with strength and
purity, filled with confidence in the presence of our Father when our Master
Jesus arrives with all His followers in Jesus name, amen.
