Spiritual Drink

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy new month. I pray this month be a month of great testimonies for you and yours in Jesus name, amen. Are you thirsty for something? Do you find yourself longing, yearning, looking for fulfillment? Jesus can quench your thirst and give purpose and fulfillment to your life.

Primary Text
“And they all drank the same spiritual (supernaturally given) drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them [produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10v4 (AMP)

God can quench your physical thirst, as He did that of the Israelites. Exodus 17v1-7 (NIV) narrates “The whole Israelite community set out from the Desert of Sin, traveling from place to place as the LORD commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. So they quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink. Moses replied, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the LORD to the test?” But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?” Then Moses cried out to the LORD, “What am I to do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me.” The LORD answered Moses, “Go out in front of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the LORD saying, “Is the LORD among us or not?”” Beloved, are you thirsty today? Don’t start grumbling and complaining. Stop fighting with your spouse and quarreling with your leader. God is aware of your situation, what you are going through and where you are at.  Pray about it. Seek the LORD for His provision. He has helped you in time past, don’t test Him or tempt Him or question His ability to meet your needs.

Supplementary Text
“He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as out of the deep. He brought streams also out of the rock [at Rephidim and Kadesh] and caused waters to run down like rivers. Yet they still went on to sin against Him by provoking and rebelling against the Most High in the wilderness (in the land of drought). And they tempted God in their hearts by asking for food according to their [selfish] desire and appetite. Yes, they spoke against God; they said, Can God furnish [the food for] a table in the wilderness? Behold, He did smite the rock so that waters gushed out and the streams overflowed; but can He give bread also? Can He provide flesh for His people? Therefore, when the Lord heard, He was [full of] wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob, His anger mounted up against Israel, Because in God they believed not [they relied not on Him, they adhered not to Him], and they trusted not in His salvation (His power to save).” Psalm 78v15-22 (AMP)

Prayer
My Lord and my God, I thank You because You are faithful. Father, please quench my every thirst in Jesus name, amen.
