God-Given!

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Matthew 4v8-11
“Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto Him, All these things will I give Thee, if Thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” Matthew 4v8-11 (KJV)

What is the devil showing you and saying to you today. Jesus in the human form was to go through a difficult death, but at the end of the day, have a name which was higher than any other, have the keys of hell and death, have all power in heaven and earth. But what if He had succumbed to the devil’s counterfeit power… That’s what happened to Adam and Eve. Today the devil may come and show you “an easy way” to get money, wealth, a husband/wife and the pleasures that come with that, children, status, … everything that God has laid up for you and you will get… Will you wait on the Lord and be patient? Remember, the Lord can help you get through those tough times. Let Him be your help. Get your inheritance from Him.

Supplementary Texts
“For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” Hebrews 4v15-16 (AMP)

“These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age. If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.” 1 Corinthians 10v11-13 (NLT)

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” Hebrews 12v1-4
