Jesus (7)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God because through the blood of Jesus, we have peace with Him now. Wherein we were separated from Him, through the shedding of Christ’s blood on the cross, we now have peace with God. Glory be to God!
Primary Text: Colossians 1v18-20
“And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” Colossians 1v18-20 (KJV)
“He is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from Him. He is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place. God was pleased for all of Himself to live in Christ. And through Christ, God has brought all things back to Himself again – things on earth and things in heaven. God made peace through the blood of Christ’s death on the cross.” Colossians 1v18-20 (NCV)
“He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent]. For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently. And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.” Colossians 1v18-20 (AMP)
Beloved, as many as have received Christ as Lord and Saviour, by believing on His name, and confessing Him, be rest assured that you have peace with God. That is why Jesus died, so that we can be restored to fellowship with God, through Him. Blessed be His holy Name forevermore. Have you accepted Him as Lord? Salvation is free. Jesus already paid the price.
Supplementary Text:
“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13v20&21
Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for being our Father. We thank You for the redemptive power in the blood of Jesus, and we thank You Jesus for being our Lord and Saviour. Holy Spirit we adore You and thank You for Your presence with us in Jesus name, amen.
And perhaps you do not even know Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, and you want to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says:
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10
You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
