Jesus (5)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Is Jesus first in your life? Is He your chief priority?

Primary Text: Colossians 1v18
“And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1v18 (KJV)

“He is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from Him. He is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place.” Colossians 1v18 (NCV)

“He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].” Colossians 1v18 (AMP)

Jesus is high and lifted up. He is great and greatly to be praised. He is no longer dead, He is risen and lives forevermore. By Him we consist. And He has first place and is preeminent in everything. In the beginning, He was there. In fact, He is the Beginning! In death, He is the Firstborn from the dead. Of the Church, He is the Head. Of every name, He has the highest. This is the truth. Unquestionable, He is the Lord.

Supplementary Text:
“Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him for the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].” Ephesians 1v2-23 (AMP)

“He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2v8-11 (NLT)

“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto Him.” 1 Peter 3v22 (KJV)

Prayer
Father, we enthrone You, we adore You, there is none like unto You and none can compare with You. Jesus we proclaim You are Lord now and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
