Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Welcome into the month of November. We thank God because we are still standing. Blessed be His holy name forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
Primary Text: Colossians 1v18
“And He is the head of the body, the church:….” Colossians 1v18 (KJV)
“He is the head of the body, which is the church….” Colossians 1v18 (NCV)
“He also is the Head of [His] body, the church;...” Colossians 1v18 (AMP)
We are the body of Christ, and He is our Head. Isn’t that wonderful? He is our direction, our Guide. I think of the Head, and it has the eyes for sight, the ears for hearing, the nose for smelling and the mouth for speaking. It also has the brain, which is the seat of reason. What does that imply about Jesus being the Head of the body? The body however has the neck, the hands, the stomach, lungs, the feet, the leg… Jesus is our Shepherd, the good Shepherd. The One who leads us, He feeds us, He restores our soul (Psalm 23; John 10v11). He has given us of His Spirit who is here with us and in us (John 14v16&17). We are the branches, He is the Vine and His Father is the Vine dresser (John 15v1,5). Because of Him we consist ☺

“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, He will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” John 14v23 (AMP)
“And from Jesus Christ the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead [first to be brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth. To Him Who ever loves us and had once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood, And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father -- to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it). Prayer
Father, we enthrone You, we adore You, there is none like unto You and none can compare with You. We give You glory and honor and dominion and power in Jesus name, amen. Lord Jesus, we thank You because You are the Head of the Church which is Your body. We ask for unity and love to reign in the body now and evermore in Jesus name, amen.
