“In Christ Jesus”
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for who He is, for His love for us, for sending Jesus to die on the Cross for us. We give Him all the glory in Jesus name, amen.
Primary Text: Romans 8v1
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8v1 (KJV)
“THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.” Romans 8v1 (AMP)
“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” Romans 8v1 (NLT)
“So now, those who are in Christ Jesus are not judged guilty.” Romans 8v1 (NCV)
In Christ Jesus, we have so many things. For one, there is therefore now no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. By faith in Christ Jesus, we are children of God (Galatians 3v26). In Christ Jesus, we have liberty (Galatians 2v4); we are all one – there being neither Jew nor Greek, neither bond nor free, neither male nor female (Galatians 3v28); and there is grace in Christ Jesus, that we can be strong in (2 Timothy 2v1). Now, the Bible also says that all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3v12). Are you in Christ Jesus?
Supplementary Text:
“But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].” 1 Corinthians 1v30 (AMP)
“Even that question came up only because of some so-called Christians there – false ones, really – who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations.” Galatians 2v4 (NLT)
“For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3v26-28 (KJV)
“For we are God’s [own] handiwork [His workmanship], recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” Ephesians 2v10 (AMP)
“I pray that the faith you share may make you understand every blessing we have in Christ.” Philemon 1v6 (NCV)
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word this day. Thank You for saving us, and calling us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to Your own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Jesus name, amen.
