The LORD my Strength!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for He is our strength. The Bible says that: “Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion” (Isaiah 40v30, NLT). That is, it is something that happens. But the Bible also tells us that “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless… But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40v28, 29 & 31, NLT). That’s why like the Psalmist we can say:
Primary Text: Psalm 18:1
“I will love Thee, O LORD, my strength.” Psalm 18v1 (KJV)
“I LOVE You fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength.” Psalm 18v1 (AMP)
Others may begin to faint all around you. They may get tired and weary, but if you wait upon the Lord, your strength shall be renewed. The Bible tells us that it is God that girds us with strength. He is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer, our God, our strength, in whom we will trust, our buckler and the horn of our salvation, and our high tower (Psalm 18v2). Hallelujah. Imagine battles in the olden days – some trusted in horses, some trusted in chariots, “but we will remember the name of the LORD our God” and we “are risen, and stand upright” while “They are brought down and fallen.” (Psalm 20v7-8). We still have battles today. What are you trusting in? Even as believers we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6v12), Wherefore we have to take unto us the whole armour of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (See Ephesians 6v13-18). We need the strength that comes from the Lord in the days ahead. Wait upon Him and let Him give you new strength. Hallelujah.

“For who is God except the Lord? Or who is the Rock save our God, The God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect?” Psalm 18v31-32 (AMP).
“You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet.” Psalm 18v39 (NLT)
“May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].” Ephesians 3v16 (AMP)
“[We pray] that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy,” Colossians 1v11 (AMP)
“We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light.” Colossians 1v11-12 (NLT)
