Rejoice … With those who Rejoice

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for the time to laugh, and to dance, and to rejoice …. The Bible tells us to:

Primary Text: Romans 12v15
“Rejoice with them that do rejoice …” Romans 12v15 (KJV)
“Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy],…” Romans 12v15 (AMP)
“Be happy with those who are happy, …” Romans 12v15 (NLT)
“Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy;…” Romans 12v15 (MSG)

There are sooooooo many reasons why we are happy and have cause to celebrate. It could be because of a new job, or a graduation, a promotion, a marriage, a child’s success, a successful project, a blessed ministry…. so many things. And the Bible tells us to rejoice with those that rejoice, be happy and celebrate with them. Friend, rejoice with your friend. You may be looking up to God for something similar, so be encouraged, that God is still in the business of bringing such things to pass. If He did it for one, He can do it for another. Friend, rejoice with your brother, even when you don’t feel like it, tell the devil he is such a liar, and remind him that your times are in the hands of the Lord (Psalm 31v15). Brother, rejoice with your sister, for the Lord has great plans for your life as well – plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future, a hope, and an expected end (Jeremiah 29v11). Wife, celebrate your husband, the Lord has done glorious things, and His name is worthy to be praised. Pastor, rejoice with your member, it is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118v23). God is great and is greatly to be praised (Psalm 96v4). May the sound of joy and rejoicing never depart from the dwelling of the righteous in Jesus name, amen (Psalm 118v15).

Supplementary Text:
“For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84v11 (AMP)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29v11 (NLT)

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35v27 (KJV)

“The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the [uncompromisingly] righteous: the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!” Psalm 118v15 (AMP)

“I am forgotten like a dead man, and out of mind; like a broken vessel am I. For I have heard the slander of many; terror is on every side! While they schemed together against me, they plotted to take my life. But I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God. My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my foes and those who pursue me and persecute me. Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me for Your mercy’s sake and in Your loving-kindness.” Psalm 31v12-16 (AMP)

“This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118v23-24 (AMP)
