Knowledge and Skill!
Hello everyone,
How are you today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Daniel, Shadrach, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, were four of the children, chosen upon the king of Babylon’s request. Now, Daniel purposed in his heart that he will not defile himself with a portion of the king’s meal, and they asked to be put on a vegetable diet and water. Now the Bible records that:

“God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom...” Daniel 1v17 (NLT)
God has not changed. What he did for these four, He can do for you. God’s Spirit in us, His wisdom, His understanding is able to distinguish us from others. These four were among a select group of people, but God gave them something extra that made them stand out. Children of the living God, let us make an impact wherever we are. We are children of the God of wisdom, and understanding. Stop saying, I can’t do this, it is too hard for me. Ask God for wisdom. In the house of Potiphar, the Bible says “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; … And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in His hands… And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake” (Genesis 39v2, 3, 5). Because we are in a particular place, God can pour out His blessings there. His Kingdom can come in that place.

“The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah... Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his kingdom.” Daniel 1v17-18 (NLT).
Father, I thank You for Your Word this day. Dear Lord, please grant me Your wisdom, knowledge, skill and understanding for all the things that I have to do in Jesus name, amen. Among the distinguished, distinguish me, and let others see that it is Your hand upon my life in Jesus name, amen.
