Peace (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“… May grace (spiritual blessing) and peace be given you in increasing abundance [that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts].” 1 Peter 1v2 (AMP)

The peace of God, entails freedom from fears. God has said, we have not received a spirit of bondage again to fear, but the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father (Romans 8v15). While we stand in awe of God, and worship and adore Him, and have the fear of the Lord, we are not to be fearful anymore. Romans 5v1 says “Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Yes, you have been adopted into the family of God. He loved you so much that He sent Jesus to die for you. Our Lord Jesus loved you so much that He laid down His life willingly for you and I (John 10v17-18). And even now, He is interceding for you and I (Hebrews 7v25). He is the good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. He said, “DO NOT let your heart be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.” (John 14v1,KJV). Believe the love God has for you. Even now, the Comforter has been sent to us. Jesus said “If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; … I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.” (John 14v15,16&18). God loves us so much that He has not left us without a Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit. Talk to Him, pray to God, and let Him replace every fear and anxiety with His peace (Philippians 4v6-7). He has asked that we come boldly before His throne of grace, where we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4v16).

Supplementary Text
“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love.” 1 John 4v18 (NLT)

Father, perfect me in Your love in Jesus name, amen.
