Willingness!

Hello everyone,

How are you today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. God made a commandment which was passed on to the children of Moses. It was a time when certain work for God was to be made – “The tabernacle, His tent, and His covering, His taches … The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering…The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garment for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priests office.” (see Exodus 35v11-19). Of course, for this work, certain resources were required like gold, silver, material… This was the message Moses passed on:

Primary Text
“And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying, Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, silver, and brass,” Exodus 35v5

There is a work to be done in the Kingdom of God, but God expects those who will give, to do it with a willing heart. 2 Corinthians 9v6-7 (NIV) says “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” But it seems there is wisdom in giving. Exodus 35v26 (AMP) “And all the women who had ability and whose hearts stirred them up in wisdom spun the goat’s hair.” Even as we can sow different things into the house of God, as we have been given the ability, let us not be like the unprofitable servant who buried his talent in the ground because he said the master wanted to reap what he did not sow (see Matthew 25).

Supplementary Text
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].” 1 Corinthians 15v58 (AMP)

Father, please make me willing in Jesus name, amen.
