The Holy Ghost and Power
Hello everybody,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in
the Lord. Happy new month. May this month be blessed for you and yours in Jesus
name, amen.
Primary Text
“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [the action of
His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do
superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely
beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] -- To Him be
glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and
ever. Amen (so be it).” Ephesians 3v20-21 (AMP)
We thank God for His Spirit and
His power, to be able to bring about the impossible. If you are wondering, how
can I live a godly and holy life? How can a lifeless body become a living soul?
How can I do good in this land? By the Holy Ghost and power. Acts 10v38 (KJV)
says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:
who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
for God was with Him.” What exactly is happening here? For the impossible to
take place, the Holy Ghost and power is needed. One way God carries out His
purposes in our lives is by the Third person in the Trinity that is the Holy
Ghost, and power. To be God’s witnesses, we need the Holy Ghost and power (Acts
1v8). Mary was told she would have a child. Her response and the angel’s were
as follows: “…How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband?
Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power
of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy
(pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the
Son of God.” Luke 1v34-35 (AMP). What seems impossible in your life today? Why
don’t you call on God today to bring it to pass by the Holy Ghost and power in
Jesus name, amen.
Prayer
Thank You Lord God Almighty for Your Holy Ghost and power.
Thank You for Your power that is at work within us, bringing hope, life, and
helping us to live a victorious life in You. Blessed be Your holy name
forevermore. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
