Gifts (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for the gifts He has given to us, and for the gift of His Holy Spirit.

Primary Text: Ephesians 4v8
“Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” Ephesians 4v8

Another wonderful gift of Himself that the Lord has given to us, is His Holy Spirit, that is, His very own Spirit, to live in us, and be with us (John 14v17). Praise the Lord. When Jesus was on earth, He was not omnipresent, but haven gone to the Father, and asked Him to send His Spirit to us, we have God the Holy Spirit now with us, who is not limited by space and is with all God’s children, dwelling in them and with us. The Holy Spirit, God with us is the one who anoints us to do exploits, and such works that glorify God (Isaiah 61v1-3). He counsels, comforts, teaches, guides, and intercedes for God’s children. He is a gift from God to us, and it sure is a wonderful one. Hallelujah.

Supplementary Texts
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as as the LORD our God shall call.” Acts 2v38-39

“And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.” Acts 5v32 (KJV)

“But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” Acts 8v20 (KJV)

“If then God gave to them the same Gift [equally] as He gave to us when we believed in (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on) the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I and what power or authority had I to interfere or hinder or forbid or withstand God?” Acts 11v17 (AMP)

“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?” Luke 11v9-13

Prayer
Father in heaven, we thank You so much for Your Holy Spirit. I ask that I may be continually filled with the Spirit and do exploits to the glory of Your name in Jesus name, amen.
