ONE Hope

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for He alone is worthy of all the glory and honour and praise. As believers, we believe in God, we believe in His Word, and we believe that one day He will come back and He will take us to be with Him. Hallelujah.

Primary Text: Ephesians 4v4
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” Ephesians 4v4 (KJV)

“[There is] one body and one Spirit—just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received--” Ephesians 4v4 (AMP)

“For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.” Ephesians 4v4 (NLT)

Hallelujah. There is one glorious hope to which we have been called to. There is a prayer that Paul prayed for the Church in Ephesus, in which he mentioned “… that ye may know what is the hope of His calling” (Ephesians 1v18). What is the hope to which we were called? John 10v10, says that – “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Hallelujah. We want to spend eternity with God. We want to be where He is forevermore. We want to have our bodies transformed. We hope for all these things to finally and eventually and confidently materialize. Hallelujah.

Supplementary Texts
“That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2v12-13

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3v16

“And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as His adopted children, including the new bodies He has promised us. We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)” Romans 8v23-25 (NLT)

Prayer
Father we thank You for calling us to be Your children, for giving us the Spirit of adoption whereby we may cry Abba Father. Indeed Lord, we thank You for preparing a place for us that where You are we may also be, and we pray that at Your coming we may not be found wanting in Jesus name, amen.

And perhaps you do not even know Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, and you want to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says:

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10

You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
