ONE Spirit
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Now when we become born of God, we are given His Spirit. And the Spirit that is in all the children of God is One Spirit. Hallelujah. The Spirit of God empowers us to be His witnesses (Acts 1v8).
Primary Text: Ephesians 4v4
“There is one body, and one Spirit, …” Ephesians 4v4 (KJV)
Romans 8 makes some references to the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is the third person in the Trinity; the Trinity being God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It is this same Spirit which is referred to in Isaiah 61v1, when Jesus says “The SPIRIT of the Lord is upon Me; because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted,…” That same Spirit is now dwelling with us, and is in us (John 14v17; Romans 8v9,11; 1 Corinthians 3:16). And that’s why Jesus could say that “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall He do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.” (John 14v12), for now we have the Spirit of Christ on the inside of us. Hallelujah. That same Spirit unifies the body in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4v1), is the same Spirit in Genesis 1, and the same which is working all over the world!

“And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.” 1 John 3v24

Father we thank You for Your Spirit that You have given to us to dwell with us and to be in us. We thank You for the encouragement and guidance we receive by Your Spirit in Jesus name, amen.
