Does heaven know you?
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and
bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Then said one unto Him, Lord, are there few that
be saved? And He said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for
many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once
the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to
stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and
he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye
begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in
our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence you are;
depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and all the prophets, in the
kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.” Luke 13v23-28 (KJV)
Beloved, one question to ask yourself is does the
Lord know you? Oh, you might be singing songs of Zion; dining and basking in
His presence; attending services; listening to teachings about Jesus; casting
out demons and healing the sick in His name, but does He know you? John 14v21,
23-24 (AMP) says “The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who
[really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father,
and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I
will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]… Jesus
answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My
teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our
home (abode, special dwelling place) with him. Anyone who does not [really]
love Me does not observe and obey My teaching. And the teaching which you hear
and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me.” Beloved, do you
really love the Lord ?
Supplementary Text
“Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father
which is in heaven.” Matthew 7v21 (KJV)
Prayer
Beloved, have you been doing the will of the
Father? If not, why don’t you ask for mercy, turn around and determine to show
You love Jesus by obeying Him.
