Preserving the Mind (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). “ 1 Thessalonians 5v23

If the Lord were to search your mind, would He find it blameless, and undefiled, or corrupt and evil-minded? What reward will the Lord give you based on what He finds in there? Jeremiah 17v9-10 (AMP) says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” For example, God made this appeal to the house of Israel, and He can very well be making the same to us saying “Cast away from you all your transgressions by which you have transgressed against Me, and make you a new mind and heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 18v31, AMP). Because our minds can be inclined towards evil or good, exploratory, is the seat of thought and decisions, and can be influenced and deluded, we need to do something about it. Romans 12v2 (AMP) tells us that “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”

Supplementary Text
“From that time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent (change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4v17 (AMP)

Prayer
Beloved, you know the state of your heart and your mind. Why don’t you speak to the Lord concerning it this day. Now is the day of salvation. Don’t wait another moment.
