Faith

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v11-12
“I will give you the land of Canaan as your special possession.” He said this when they were few in number, a tiny group of strangers in Canaan.” Psalm 105v11-12 (NLT)

God had given a promise to Abraham concerning the land of Canaan, and had confirmed it to Isaac and Jacob. Now He said this when they were few in number and even strangers in the land. In the Bible, God is referred to as “… the God Abraham believed, the God who gives life to the dead and who creates something out of nothing” (Romans 4v17, NCV). Sometimes, God may say something, and it sounds incredulous. For instance, He told Sarah she would have a child by this time next year, and she laughed, thinking “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” But God said “Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the LORD? ...” (Genesis 18v9-15). Didn’t it come to pass? God’s Word concerning your life will come to pass in Jesus name, amen.

Supplementary Text:
“But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each of you to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through] in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development of [your] hope until the end, In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises…. And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised Him.” Hebrews 6v11-13&15 (AMP)

Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word, for Your goodness and Your grace. Father, I thank You for Your promises of healing, protection, provision, anointing and every promise. Lord, right now, it may seem hard to see how these promises will come to pass, but I trust in You. I don’t know how or when You will bring it to pass, but I know You will. I pray for the grace to wait patiently on You, and to stand on Your Word. Thank You Father, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
