Adversity

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v25
“He turned the hearts [of the Egyptians] to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.” Psalm 105v25 (AMP)

The children of Israel were people with a promise, a covenant. But they found themselves in Egypt, and not only that, the Egyptians began to make things really difficult for them. Why us, they might have wondered. We see here that God even instigated the hearts of the Egyptians to deal thus with His people. I am reminded of Haman also instigating a plot against the Jews in Shushan (Esther 3). But God is always in control, regardless of what you see and what is happening around He. He cares and He has never ever lost a battle. Hang in there.

Supplementary Text:
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return nor there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, [II Cor. 9:10] So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.” Isaiah 55v8-17 (AMP)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for this day that You have made. I thank You for Your goodness and Your faithfulness. Blessed be Your holy name forevermore. Father, I pray that You glorify Yourself in my life in everyway, in Jesus name, amen.
