Light

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Our God is an awesome God. Exodus 10v21-23, talks about the plague of darkness that God brought upon Egypt. Amazing thing being that while there was darkness in Egypt, “all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” Hallelujah.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v27-28
“They showed His signs among them, wonders and miracles in the land of Ham (Egypt). He sent [thick] darkness and made the land dark, and they [God’s two servants] rebelled not against His word. [Exod. 10:22; Ps. 99:7.].” Psalm 105v27-28 (AMP)

Now, the Bible speaks of Jesus that “In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” (John 1v4-5, NIV). He is “… the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” (John 1v9, KJV). Are you running away from the Light today? Or are you coming into the Light? For those who believe in Jesus, there is no condemnation, but he that doesn’t believe, is already condemned because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3v18).

Supplementary Text:
“The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil [Isa. 5:20.] For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved. But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are – wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him].” John 3v19-21 (AMP)

Now, perhaps you have been running away from the Light, and do not have know Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, and you want to have a relationship with Him. The Bible says:

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10v9-10

You can say this prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

If you said this prayer today, know that you are now a child of God and that there is much jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church, and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
