A New Covenant

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Our God a kind God, and dependable God, who is worthy of all of our praise. One we can run to, and rely on.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v8
“He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations.” Psalm 105v8 (KJV)

Hallelujah. God remembers His covenant for ever. He does not go back on His Word. “God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23v19, AMP). Men may have failed you, but God won’t. It is very safe to enter into a covenant with the living God, He will not change on you. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever” (Hebrews 13v8, KJV). We thank God that as children of God, we are under a new covenant, of whom Jesus is the mediator (Hebrews 12v24). Do you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ?

Supplementary Text:
“But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Wherefore the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that He had said before. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the LORD, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.” Hebrews 10v12-18 (NIV)

“But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12v22-24 (NIV)

Prayer
Father, we thank You and appreciate You for the new covenant in Jesus name, amen.
