His Messengers

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text: Psalm 105v26
“He sent Moses His servant; and Aaron whom He had chosen.” Psalm 105v26 (KJV)

God sent Moses to Pharaoh, to bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt (Exodus 3). What a daunting task! First, he would have to go back to where he had run away from, and besides, who said Pharaoh would listen to him. David faced Goliath who disdained him (1 Samuel 17); the children of Israel were “stuck” between the Red Sea and Pharaoh and his army (Exodus 14); Joseph was sold by his brothers (Genesis 37); Daniel was thrown into the lions den (Daniel 6); Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, were thrown into the fiery furnace (Daniel 3); Ruth went to an unfamiliar land (Ruth 1); Esther faced the potential of death if the king did not raise his scepter to her when she approached him without him calling for her (Esther 4) … God’s ways are definitely not our ways (Isaiah 55v8). For if we look at these different scenarios, in the physical realm, the enemy always seemed much bigger than the individuals. Just as we always seem to be contending with situations much bigger than us. But the reality is that we are to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6v10). It’s not about who we are, but who He is and who we are in Him. We have the Greater One on the inside of us (1 John 4v4), and if God be for us, who can be against us (Romans 8v31). Hallelujah.

Supplementary Text:
“For ye see your calling brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1v26-31 (KJV)

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.” Isaiah 41v10 (KJV)

Prayer
