Our God
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for all that He is to us.
Primary Text: Psalm 105v7
“He is the LORD our God. His justice is seen throughout the land.” Psalm 105v7 (NLT)
The LORD our God, He is God. He is the One who made us, we didn’t make ourselves. Some people do not want to acknowledge God as God. The Bible says that – “For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.” Romans 1v20-22 (NLT). But we know God. We have His Word which tells us about Him. We have the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth (John 16v13). Do not have itchy ears and try to conjure up another Christ, endure sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4v3).
Supplementary Text:
“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations” Psalm 100v1-5 (KJV)
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word. We thank You for we can draw nigh to You and You to us. We thank You for revealing Yourself to us. We pray that we may know You more. We thank You for all that You are to us in Jesus name we pray, amen.
