God the Judge (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Now, God is our Father, but He is also the Judge.

Primary Text:
“And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:” 1 Peter 1v17 (KJV)

Now we thank God that once we receive Christ as our Lord, we are no longer condemned, and we get eternal life. But those who do not receive Him are already condemned. That said, God is still a judge. He will judge everybody’s work, the things that we do while on earth. God judges among the gods (Psalm 82v1), and Psalm 82v6 (AMP) says “I said, You are gods [since you judge on My behalf, as My representatives]; indeed, all of you are children of the Most High.” God sees all things. I recall the story of a lady and a man, and the man wanted to sleep with the lady, but they weren’t married. So the girl told him to close the door, the windows, but then reminded him that even if he did all that, God will still see them. The secret things as well will be judged. Ecclesiastes 12v14 saying “God will judge everything, even what is done in secret, the good and the evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12v14). While Romans 2v16 (AMP) says “On that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts).”

Supplementary Text
“Arise, O judge of the earth. Give the proud what they deserve. How long, O LORD? How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat? How long will they speak with arrogance? How long will these evil people boast? They crush Your people, LORD, hurting those You claim as Your own. They kill widows and foreigners and murder orphans. “The LORD isn’t looking,” they say, “and besides, the God of Israel doesn’t care.” Think again, you fools! When will you finally catch on? Is He deaf – the One who made your ears? Is He blind – the One who formed your eyes. He punishes the nations – won’t He also punish you? He knows everything – doesn’t He also know what you are doing?” Psalm 94v2-10 (NLT)

Heavenly Father, please search my heart, try my thoughts and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting in Jesus name, amen.
