Father, My Father (2)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God because for those of us who believed on and received the Lord Jesus, we are given the power, the right to become children of God. “They are reborn- not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God” (John 1v12-13).

“You pray to God and call Him Father,…” 1 Peter 1v17 (NCV)
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.” (John 3v3-4). We are born of God, and have His Spirit in us. Galatians 4v4-6 (AMP) says “But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons]. And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!” Romans 8v15 (AMP) says “For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!” Abba Father. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ in you, you are none of His (Romans 8v9). “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8v14). Hallelujah. Child of God, you have His Spirit in you, and His Spirit assures us that we are children of God, As children of God, we are also heirs of God, and co-heirs with Jesus.

“The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.” Romans 8v16-17 (AMP)
