HIS Resurrection

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible says:

“And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what He does [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short]. You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.” 1 Peter 1v17-19 (AMP)
We were bought at a great, incorruptible price. We were bought with the precious blood of Jesus. God the Son gave His life for you and I. 2 Corinthians 5v21 (KJV) says “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” 1 Corinthians 7v23 (AMP) says “You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for by Christ]; then do not yield yourselves up to become [in your own estimation] slaves to men [but consider yourselves slaves to Christ].” Our lives are so important to God. God could have left us in the state that we were in. But He did not. He did what had to be done to buy us. Now we are His. And we become the bond servant of Christ. A song we sing says “I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sins upon that Cross…” It cost the life of Jesus. 1 Corinthians 6v19-20 (NIV) says “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” Let us please God with all that we are, not men, seeing how much He has done for us, and that we are His not our own.

“You all were bought at a great price, so do not become slaves of people.” 1 Corinthians 7v23 (NCV)
Father, I thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for the great price for which it was bought. I say my life belongs to You, I am not my own in Jesus name, amen.
