This Grace

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible says:

Primary Text
“The prophets, who prophesied of the grace (divine blessing) which was intended for you, searched and inquired earnestly about this salvation.” 1 Peter 1v10 (AMP)

What a great grace indeed that we have been given. That the great and the mighty God, sent His only begotten Son to die for us (John 3v16). We get to call the Almighty God Father. We are made joint heirs with Jesus (Romans 8v17). Jesus is our Saviour, our Shepherd, our God. And we have the Greater One on the inside of us (1 John 4v4), and a faith that overcomes the world (1 John 5v4). We have the presence of God with us, even by the Spirit of God dwells with us and is in us (John 14v17). We are not left without comfort. For the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit is with us. He helps us, intercedes for us, comforts us, counsels us, stands by us. An amazing grace that we are told that “This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4v15-16, NLT). God understands our weaknesses, and He wants us to come to Him for help. That is grace indeed! Grace that in our weaknesses, His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12v9, NIV). Guess what, we get to work with God too. 1 Corinthians 3v9 saying “For we are labourers together with God…” Indeed we are in the dispensation of grace. Let us not frustrate this grace (Galatians 2v21).

Supplementary Text
“But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15v10 (AMP)

Father, I thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for this great grace that has been given unto me. May I never take it for granted in Jesus name, amen.
