The Word

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible says:

Primary Text
“They sought [to find out] to whom or when this was to come which the Spirit of Christ working within them was indicating when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow [them]. It was then disclosed to them that the services they were rendering were not meant for themselves and their period of time, but for you…” 1 Peter 1v11-12 (AMP)

It is amazing to see here that even before we were born, the prophets, through the Spirit of Christ were already predicting the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow them. You can imagine being a prophet then and all these revelations coming to you and wondering, what does this mean? When will this happen? How will it happen? Why will it happen? And it was told them that it was not for themselves that these predictions had come, and not their period of time, but for us – you and I. John 12v16 (NLT) says, speaking after Jesus had entered into Jerusalem, and people came to meet Him with branches that “His disciples didn’t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into His glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about Him.” Let us not take the Word of God lightly. It is profitable for us to grow in faith and in the knowledge of God. At a point, Jesus told His disciples, “Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am He” (John 13v19). Many things are written in the Word of God. Remember that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3v16-17). Looking for answers, look to the Word.
