His Salvation

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“And [how you] look forward to and await the coming of His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead – Jesus, Who personally rescues and delivers us out of and from the wrath [bringing punishment] which is coming [upon the impenitent] and draws us to Himself [investing us with all the privileges and rewards of the new life in Christ, the Messiah].” 1 Thessalonians 1v10 (AMP)

As believers, we know that there is a judgment that is coming, but we have every cause to be grateful because Jesus has saved us from the terrors of this judgment. Our God is a loving Father, and the reality is that He doesn’t want anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3v9). But the day will come when we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, and receive “what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5v10, NIV). However, under this dispensation of grace, the Father has sent Jesus to die for our sins so that through believing in Him, we might not perish but have everlasting life. John 3v17-21 (TLB) says “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. “There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who don’t trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God. Their sentence is based on this fact: that the Light from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the Light, for their deeds were evil. They hated the heavenly Light because they wanted to sin in the darkness. They stayed away from that Light for fear their sins would be exposed and they would be punished. But those doing right come gladly to the Light to let everyone see that they are doing what God wants them to.”” Beloved, have you come to the Light or are you still hiding away in darkness?

Supplementary Text
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9v26-27 (KJV)

Prayer

My Father and my God, I thank You so much for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for me. Lord Jesus, I look forward to Your coming back for Your church and Your salvation in Jesus name, amen.
