He sees your heart

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“For we speak as messengers from God, trusted by Him to tell the truth; we change His message not one bit to suit the taste of those who hear it; for we serve God alone, who examines our hearts’ deepest thoughts.” 1 Thessalonians 2v4 (TLB)

“But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the glad tidings (the Gospel), so we speak not to please men, but to please God, Who tests our hearts [expecting them to be approved].” 1 Thessalonians 2v4 (AMP)

Beloved, God sees all hearts. What then are some of the implications of this? First, it means that we cannot deceive Him. 2 Timothy 2v19 (TLB) says “But God’s truth stands firm like a great rock, and nothing can shake it. It is a foundation stone with these words written on it: “The Lord knows those who are really His,” And “A person who calls himself a Christian should not be doing things that are wrong.” Second, it means God can guide us aright. If we depend on Him, He can keep us from deceiving ourselves. Jeremiah 17v9 (KJV) saying “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it.”  Also, Proverbs 28v26 (AMP) says “He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a [self-confident] fool, but he who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered.” He can also help you discern when someone is being deceptive, and guide us in making the right decision when it comes to others, as we see in the case of David. God can help you choose the right partner for marriage, business, work, ministry e.t.c.

Supplementary Text
“And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him. But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16v6-7 (KJV)

Prayer

Father, I thank You because You see all hearts. You know my heart. If there be any unrighteousness or wicked way in me, please cleanse me and lead in the path of  everlasting life. Guide me as well o God that I might not be deceived by myself or others in Jesus name, amen.
