A bigger picture (2)

Hello everyone, How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Of Jesus it is written: Primary Text “When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but He trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.” 1 Peter 2v23 (AMP) Sometimes, the bigger picture may be for our or another’s benefit. For Jesus, He suffered for our own good but, also for Himself. For Hebrews 5v7-9 (NLT) says “While Jesus was here on earth, He offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the One who could rescue Him from death. And God heard His prayers because of His deep reverence for God. Even though Jesus was God’s Son, He learned obedience from the things He suffered. In this way, God qualified Him as a perfect High Priest, and He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him.” Joseph went through difficulties, but after it, he was able to say to his brothers when they thought he will harm them when their father died that “You meant to hurt me, but God turned your evil into good to save the lives of many people, which is being done. So don’t be afraid. I will take care of you and your children.” So Joseph comforted his brothers and spoke kind words to them.” (Genesis 50v20-21, NCV). Romans 15v4 encourages us that “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15v4, KJV). So now we can look back and say wow, God likes this, He shows up in this situation, He manifests Himself this way. In fact, when we “are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort of fall into various temptations” James 1v2-4 (AMP) says we should “consider it wholly joy … Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” Hallelujah. Have you ever been on a roller coaster, with some parts more gentle and others teeth gripping? Well, we who love the Lord, when we go through the teeth gripping trials of life, let’s learn to hold on tight and have the “here we go again” attitude, knowing that God will see us through, and He is working all things for our good and His purpose (Romans 8v28). Be encouraged! Supplementary Text “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort and (consolation and encouragement), Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God. For just as Christ’s [own] sufferings fall to our lot [as they overflow upon His disciples, and we share and experience them] abundantly, so through Christ comfort (consolation and encouragement) is also [shared and experienced] abundantly by us. “ 1 Corinthians 1v3-5 (AMP)
