No Guile

Hello everyone --- How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Now, the Bible says: Primary Text “He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips.” 1 Peter 2v22 (AMP) Of Jesus, it is said that He didn’t sin, and neither was deceit or guile ever found on His lips. Isaiah 53v9 (KJV) says “And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.” The Message translation reads “They buried Him with the wicked, threw Him in a grave with a rich man, Even though He’d never hurt a soul or said one word that wasn’t true.” Jesus did not tell lies. The devil though is the father of lies. John 8v43-44 (AMP) records Jesus saying “Why do you misunderstand what I say? It is because you are unable to hear what I am saying. [You cannot bear to listen to My message; your ears are shut to My teaching.] You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.” John 10v10 says “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the fill, till it overflows). The devil will lie and connive and deceive in order to destroy a life. But Jesus, who is the Light of the world, is “… the Way and the Truth and the Life…” (John 14v6). “So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” John 8v31-32 (AMP) Supplementary Text “Who of you convicts Me of wrongdoing or finds Me guilty of sin? Then if I speak truth, why do you not believe Me [trust Me, rely on, and adhere to Me]? Whoever is of God listens to God. [Those who belong to God hear the words of God.] This is the reason that you do not listen [to those words, to Me]: because you do not belong to God and are not of God or in harmony with Him.” John 8v46-47 (AMP) Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank You because Your Word is Truth. As Your Word says in John 10v10, we pray that You sanctify, purify, consecrate, separate us, make us holy by The Truth, Your Word is Truth, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
