Healing through believing in Him

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. God can bring His healing to the world through us. Acts 3v1-8 (NIV) tells us: “One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer – at three in the afternoon. Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straights at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping and praising God.” Hallelujah!

The name of Jesus is mighty, powerful and greater than any other name. Philippians 2v9-11 (AMP) says “Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” The name of Jesus is higher than every other name that can be named – depression, suicide, cancer, leprosy, brokenness, sickness, disease… Do you believe in His name? We have the Spirit of Christ in us, and for those of us who believe, God can bring healing to us and those around us. Mark 16v17-18 (KJV) says “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16v17-18, KJV) Don’t be scared to pray in Jesus name for yourself and for others. It is not by our own power or might, holiness or godliness that God does His miracles. As Peter told the people,

 Supplementary Text
“…Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? … By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.” Acts 3v12&16 (NIV)

Do you need healing, restoration, joy, hope in any area of your life? Why don’t you take it to the Lord in prayer?
