Living Unto Righteousness

Hello everyone, How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Of Jesus it is written: Primary Text “He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness...” 1 Peter 2v24 (AMP) “Christ carried our sins in His body on the cross so we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right…” 1 Peter 2v24 (NCV) Hallelujah!!! Thank God that through believing in Christ Jesus we have right standing with God (Romans 10v4). Ephesians 2v13 (NIV) tells us that “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” He bore our sins in His body on the cross. Let’s watch how we live. 1 Corinthians 15v34 (NLT) saying “Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all.” Romans 6v1-4 (NIV) says that “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Hallelujah. Romans 6v10-13 (NLT) says “When He died, He died once to break the power of sin. But now that He lives, He lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new live. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.” Amen. Supplementary Text “But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]. So then, as it is written, Let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1v30-31 (AMP) Father, I thank You so much for the new life we have in Christ. I present myself as a living sacrifice unto You, which is my spiritual worship, yielding to Your plans, Word and Your Spirit, asking that You glorify Yourself through my life, in Jesus name, amen.
