Assurance of Victory (Moses, 11)

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His goodness, His mercies, His faithfulness, for His presence with us, and for the victory we have because of Him.

Primary Text: Exodus 5v1-2
“And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let My people go, that they may hold a feast unto Me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.” Exodus 5v1-2

Sometimes, we read the Bible, and it seems as though the events and situations are none of our concern. However, take a situation that presents itself as a Pharaoh, even to the believer. It could have been one that initially seemed okay, and even seemed to pay the bills. And then all of a sudden it becomes a difficult situation, and kept getting harder. For the Israelites, they first came to Egypt during a period of famine, and they were nourished there, but afterwards, another Pharaoh who did not know Joseph came, and began to make things difficult for the Israelites. It was a tough life! It might be something that you one day realize that this thing does not glorify God, but then it refuses to leave your life. It could be something that is making a mockery of your salvation, could be emotional, financial, physical, mental, spiritual, even generational… Something you lived with for a while, but now you are crying out that, this is a problem. It is a very stubborn issue. But you must never ever give up with a Pharaoh. You must keep insisting and showing that because of Jesus, You are free, and make it hear the Word of the LORD. For the unbeliever, it could represent a form of oppression from which they are crying out to be released from.

Subsidiary Texts: 1 Corinthians 16v9, 2 Corinthians 10v3-5
“For a wide door of opportunity for effectual [service] has opened to me [there, a great and promising one], and [there are] many adversaries.” 1 Corinthians 16v9 (Amplified Bible)

“For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” 2 Corinthians 10v3-5 (Amplified Bible)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word today. I thank You because You are the great Deliverer. Daddy I pray, that whatever is a Pharoah in my life (you can name it), just as You did for the Israelites, may I see it again no more forever in Jesus name, amen, and may Your name be glorified in Jesus name, amen.
