Assurance of Victory (Moses, 7)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for He is a great great God, perfect and true. He is like none other. He is the One who will ask us to do something, but instead of leaving us in a limbo as to how to carry it out, He will direct us and teach us on how to go about it – if we are willing to listen. This is just to encourage us to be sensitive to the guidance of God, and also to seek His guidance when we are uncertain about what to do.

Primary Text: Exodus 4v15
“And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.” Exodus 4v15

Here, God was telling Moses, that He will be with Moses’ mouth, and Aaron’s mouth, and will also teach them what they should do. Isn’t that reassuring? And we know that God does not change. If when He sent Moses on a mission, He was with his mouth, and taught Him what to do, He can do the same for us… and we see Him doing it already.

Subsidiary Texts: Exodus 4v19, Exodus 4v27, Matthew 4v1, Acts 13v2, John 14v26
“And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all men are dead which sought thy life.” Exodus 4v19

“And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.” Exodus 4v27

“Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Matthew 4v1

“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate Me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” Acts 13v2

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14v26

The Holy Spirit of God, who is dwelling with us and is in us (John 14v17), is here now to teach us all things. One of the things that show that we are sons of God, is that we are led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8v14). Isn’t that wonderful?

Have a blessed day.

Prayer
Father, help me to be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit in Jesus name, amen.
