Flee fornication!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. God is good, He is faithful and He is True. He can never fail! The Bible tells us that:
“Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” 1 Corinthians 6v18
We have heard about crimes against humanity, but the Bible is telling us here that when we commit fornication, you sin against your own body. Yes, the television may make it look alright and cool, but according to God’s standard, it is totally wrong.
1 Thessalonians 4v3 (New Living Translation) says : “God’s will is for you to be holy so stay away from all sexual sin.”
If you are having a tough time doing so, then ask God for help. He tells us in Hebrews 4v15-16 that:
“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
God is saying that when you feel weak and are facing all these testings, come BOLDLY before Him. He will give you grace to help you when you need it most. Amen.

Prayer Point: Father, thank You for being a gracious God. Where I have sinned against You and against my own body, forgive me Lord in Jesus name, amen. Grant me the grace and the wisdom to flee fornication and any sexual sins from now and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
