Power of Resurrection

Hello everybody,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His great love for us and yet another day that He has made. Our God is omnipotent, all-powerful. The Psalmist says, God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God (Psalm 62v11). Now, we see in Philippians 3v10, how Paul wanted to know the power of Christ’s resurrection…. What is that great power that raised up Jesus from the dead, and how can we experience it today? How can it be displayed through us to glorify God? How does it pertain to us as believers today?

Primary Text: Philippians 3v10
“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection,..” Philippians 3v10 (KJV)

“I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead….” Philippians 3v10 (New Living Translation)

“[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and clearly], and that I may in the same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], …” Philippians 3v10 (AMP)

Supplementary Verses
“Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).” Matthew 28v18-20 (AMP)

“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else – not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.” Ephesians 1v19 – 22 (New Living Translation).

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that we may know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, above every title that can be conferred, both in this age and world, and that which is to come, amen.
