A Destructuve End

Hello everybody,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His amazing love for us, His mercies, His grace, and for always looking out for us. Paul in Philippians 3v18&19, cautions in his letter to the Philippians about enemies of the cross of Christ.

Primary Text – Philippians 3v18&19
“(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even now weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” Philippians 3v18&19

“For there are many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even now with tears, who walk (live) as enemies of the cross of Christ (the Anointed One). They are doomed and their fate is eternal misery (perdition); their god is their stomach (their appetites, their sensuality) and they glory in their shame, siding with earthly things and being of their party.” Philippians 3v18&19 (AMP)

When looking at those to follow, and emulate, it is important to look at the way they pattern their lives. Not only should you be carried away with what they say, but check to see if their lives are emulating Christ, and glorifying His name. There are those who will deceive believers you will never be one of those in Jesus name, amen, because at the end of the day, we shall all pay for the lives that we lives while on earth.

Supplementary Texts
“But I will continue doing what I have always done. This will undercut those who are looking for an opportunity to boast that their work is just like ours. These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11v12-15 (NLT)

“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1v16 (KJV)

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8v5-6 (KJV)

Have a very blessed day.

Prayer
Father, we thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your Word, Your presence and Your love for us. We thank You once again for being with us and Your Spirit in us. May we forever be spiritually minded in Jesus name, amen.
