By faith

Hello everybody,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Indeed, our God is the invincible, yet invisible God. We love Him, though we have not yet seen Him, but we believe that His Word is true, and that He is true.

Primary Text: Philippians 3v9
“And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” Philippians 3v9 (KJV)

“And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.” Philippians 3v9 (Amplified Bible)

As with salvation, and prayer, and giving, and obedience, e.t.c., it is important to remember as well that the righteousness we have is also by faith. We have right standing with God, and we have to believe it. The devil may come and lie and try to deceive you into believing that God is angry with you, or that you have to go about establishing your own righteousness, but you have to know that the Word of God says that the righteousness you have, is not yours, but through the faith of Christ, and it is a righteousness which is of God by faith (Philippians 3v9)

Supplementary Verses
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11v6

“Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnesses by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” Romans 3v20-24

“THERE IS therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8v1

Prayer
Father, we thank You indeed because no flesh can glory in Your presence. We thank You because of the righteousness we have in You through faith, and for the justification You have given to us in the same way, in Jesus name, amen.
