Bring Praise

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah for the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. The Bible says:

Primary Text:
“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Psalm 150v6 (AMP)

We thank God that we still have the breath of life. And while we have breath, we can praise the Lord. It is good to sing praises to God. It is pleasant, delightful, comely and fitting (Psalm 147v1). I heard a music minister say that the secret of his ministry was in the fact that God told him that He doesn’t care if he is sometimes out of tune … but He cannot stay away from sounds made in His honor. Sing praises to God. Sing a new song unto the Lord (Psalm 33v3). Let the high praise of God be in your mouth (Psalm 149v6). The Psalmist said, I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34v1). Praise God in the morning, in the noonday, in the evening, at night, on your bed… “Sing forth the honor of His name, make His praise glorious” (Psalm 66v2). The Bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of Israel (Psalm 22v3). We praise God in response to what He has done. But we should also praise God because He is worthy of praise. Even when we are in a fix, God has not changed, and we can praise Him to invite Him into the situation, to tell Him that He is faithful, and we know He is more than able to change things around. Paul and Silas, even while in prison, prayed and sang praises to God. Abraham, even before the promise of Isaac was manifested, gave glory to God (see Romans 4). Let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord!

Supplementary Text
“And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” 2 Chronicles 20v20-22 (KJV)
