Strength Comes (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. There is a song I like, which goes: “Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, We will wait upon the Lord, We will wait upon the Lord…. Our God, You reign forever. Our hope, our Strong Deliverer. You are the everlasting God, The everlasting God, You do not faint You won’t grow weary. You’re the defender of the weak, You comfort those in need, You lift us up on wings like eagles (by Chris Tomlin). Hallelujah, God is indeed our strength. The Bible says:

Primary Text:
“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” 2 Corinthians 12v9 (AMP)

I don’t know how many people have ever been on a roller coaster. Now imagine being on one, which allows you some moments of respite, before it begins to stomach turning churns and twisting you up and down. Sometimes life can be like that, you have some moments of calm, and then something happens and you wonder, how did this come to pass? What is happening? We bless God that He is our strength. He gives the strength to bear each trial, each challenge, manfully. But in those times, in whatever form the weakness may present itself, they are marvelous opportunities for the power of Christ to pitch a tent over you. He carries us on wings as eagles. That’s why we can count it all joy when we go through the trials, and the tough times (James 1v) – it is just another opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf ( ). For when we are weak, then are we strong (2 Corinthians 12v10). Hallelujah.

Supplementary Text
“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40v28-29 (KJV)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word and for Your strength and Your grace. Father, please strengthen me with might by Your Spirit in the inner man, in Jesus name, amen.
