Faith!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Recently, I listened to someone tell a testimony of how they went into a competition by faith. They had prepared for this particular competition in less time than the other schools had, but God was faithful, and they still came out with prizes. The Bible tells us that:
Primary Text:
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5v7 (KJV)
Recently I had an experience that if we had walked by sight, it would have been hard to move forward. But we walk by faith, and not by sight – and this applies to every area of our lives – whether in ministry, at our place of work, at an interview, we have to walk by faith, trusting in God, and moving forward. If David had looked at just the sight of Goliath, and not gone in the name of the Lord, he may have been too frightened to make a move. The children of Israel on the other hand, walked by sight at a point in time, which made them say that – “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” (Numbers 13v33). The funny thing is that it was not as if they had spoken to these sons of Anak, but judging by their sight, the children of Israel refused to move forward. Only Joshua and Caleb gave a different testimony (see below). We must remember always that: “But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]” (Hebrews 11v6, AMP). God will come through for you, just trust Him.

“Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the LORD is pleased with us, He will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. Do not rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the LORD is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” Numbers 13v6-9 (NLT)
