Continue in the Truth

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible says: Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22v6). Children of God, perhaps you were trained in the way of the Lord, from childhood. Continue in the Lord’s way. Perhaps you came to know the Lord at an older age, continue in His way. Paul writing to Timothy said:

Primary Text:
“Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil people and imposters will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived. But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3v12-15 (NLT)

You know what you have been taught. You know who has taught you. Remain faithful to God and to His Word. Persecution will come, yes it will. Paul was a perfect example of someone who suffered a lot of persecution. Yet, one of his prayers was, I want to know God more. The things that were gain to me, I counted loss for Christ. I want to share in the fellowship of His suffering, and be conformable to His death. He said, forgetting what is behind, I press on (see Philippians 3v7-14). There is nothing compared to serving the Lord. The light afflictions that we face now, is nothing compared to the eternal glory that will be revealed in us. You know the Word. You know the way of God. Now is not the time to compromise or test other things. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through Him (John 14v6). You know that. God has been faithful to you. Remain faithful to Him.

Supplementary Text
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3v15&16 (NLT)

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word and for the privilege of being called Yours. Father, please grant unto me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of my understanding will be enlightened, that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, what the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of your power to us-ward who believe, in Jesus name, amen.
