Standing

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His goodness, His faithfulness, His grace, and His lovingkindness, and also for the privilege to be called His own. The Lord sent a message to the angel of the Church in Pergamos. In that message, He said:

Primary Text
Then to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Pergamum write: These are the words of Him Who has and wields the sharp two-edged sword:I know where you live--a place where Satan sits enthroned. [Yet] you are clinging to and holding fast My name, and you did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed (martyred) in your midst--where Satan dwells.” Revelations 2v12&13 (AMP)

Now, the Lord had certain things against the Church in Pergamum (Revelations 2v14&15), but certain other things He did mention are that, He knows where they live, and that they are clinging and holding fast to His name, and not denying His faith. God knows where we live, He knows the difficulties we face in our surroundings, He is aware of whatsoever trial, or tribulation we are going through. Jesus understands what you are experiencing and going through. Furthermore, it is possible to live a holy life even in the midst of perverse situations. It is possible to hold onto your faith and not deny the Lord, even in a place where Satan is enthroned. We are in the world, but we are not of the world. Jesus said: “…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16v33). Hallelujah. So, regardless of where you are, God is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before His throne of grace. Determine to live for Christ, regardless, like Daniel who: … “purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” (Daniel 1v8)

Supplementary Text
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 1v24&25

Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word, and I pray that You will keep me in You now, and evermore in Jesus name, amen.
