Death to Life!

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text:
“And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;” Ephesians 2v1 (KJV)
The “death” which is being referred to here, is a spiritual death. In time past, when we did not know Jesus, hadn’t believed in Him, we were dead – in trespasses and in sins. At that time, we did not know the Lord. The Bible says: “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5v11-13). The Bible tells us clearly here, those who have eternal life and those who do not. For those who do have Jesus, you have eternal life. You have been made a new creature, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5v17). When the devil comes to you with temptations and all, you can tell him, you are no longer the same person who used to wallow in trespasses and sins. You have the Son of God living in you now, you have the victory in Him and through Him. Hallelujah.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5v24 (KJV)
“And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise Him up at the last day.” John 6v40 (KJV)
