Death to Life (2)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. The Bible tells us that:
Primary Text:
“And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;” Ephesians 2v1 (KJV)
Jesus said that: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5v24 (KJV). For those that believe in Jesus, we have passed from death unto life. What is this life? The Bible tells us that: “And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.” John 17v3 (AMP). Eternal life is to know God, and to know the Lord Jesus Christ – it is indeed amazing that the God of all the earth is our Father, our God, and we have access by one Spirit to God through Jesus (Ephesians 2v18). We have even been asked to come boldly before His throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4v16).

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5v11-13).

Father, I thank You for Your Word this day. I thank You for everlasting life that is now mine in Jesus name, amen.
